چکیده

The Doss-Sussmann (DS) approach is used for uniform simulation of the CoxIngersoll-Ross (CIR) process. The DS formalism allows to express trajectories of the CIR process through solutions of some ordinary differential equation (ODE) depending on realizations of a Wiener process involved. By simulating the first-passage times of the increments of the Wiener process to the boundary of an interval and solving the ODE, we uniformly approximate the trajectories of the CIR process. In this respect special attention is payed to simulation of trajectories near zero. From a conceptual point of view the proposed method gives a better quality of approximation (from a path-wise point of view) than standard, or even exact simulation of the SDE at some deterministic time grid. Limit Theorems for a Cox-Ingersoll-Ross Process with Hawkes Jumps

In this paper, we propose a stochastic process, which is a CoxIngersoll-Ross process with Hawkes jumps. It can be seen as a generalization of the classical Cox-Ingersoll-Ross process and the classical Hawkes process with exponential exciting function. Our model is a special case of the affine point processes. Laplace transforms and limit theorems have been obtained, including law of large numbe...

Irreversible investment with Cox-Ingersoll-Ross type mean reversion

We solve a Dixit and Pindyck type irreversible investment problem in continuous time under the assumption that the project value follows a Cox–Ingersoll–Ross process. This setup works well for modeling foreign direct investment in the framework of real options, when the exchange rate is uncertain and the project value fixed in a foreign currency. We indicate how the solution qualitatively diffe...

On the Heston Model with Stochastic Interest Rates

We discuss the Heston [Heston-1993] model with stochastic interest rates driven by Hull-White [Hull,White-1996] (HW) or Cox-Ingersoll-Ross [Cox, et al.-1985] (CIR) processes. Two projection techniques to derive affine approximations of the original hybrid models are presented. In these approximations we can prescibe a non-zero correlation structure between all underlying processes. The affine a...

Boundary Conditions For Mean-Reverting Square Root Process

The Cox-Ingersoll-Ross (CIR) interest rate model is used to model interest rates and interest rate derivatives. We study the term structure equation for single-factor models that predict non-negative interest rates. It is shown using finite difference techniques that if the boundary is attainable, then this boundary behaviour serves as a boundary condition and guarantees a uniqueness of solutio...

Long-term returns in stochastic interest rate models: Convergence in law

Using an extension of the Cox-Ingersoll-Ross [1] stochastic model of the short interest rate r, we study the convergence in law of the longterm return in order to make some approximations. We use the theory of Bessel processes and observe the convergence in law of the sequence (√ −2β3 δn ∫ nt 0 (Xu + δu 2β )du ) t≥0 with the X a generalized Besselsquare process with drift with stochastic revers...
